Fall, 2012 ~ The Collected will be working with the fantastic bass clarinet duo Sqwonk.  Details are in the works.  Check back in for more information about this exciting collaboration.  New works by Lisa R. Coons, Adam Fong, Denise Gilson, and Brent Miller

July, 2012 ~ The Collected presents special guest artist Jon Raskin (Rova Saxophone Quartet) performing works by Brent Miller, Adam Fong, and Christian Wolff.  Brent and Adam will join Jon on alto saxophone and string bass respectively.  Performances at Meridian Gallery and Subterranean Arthouse.  More info coming soon!

June 23, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. ~ Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe.  Santa Fe New Music will be a work for violin and 'cello by Lisa R. Coons entitled "Music Painted from Memory."  This will be part of their Southwest Festival of New Music, featuring a commissioned new work by Christian Wolff, and music by emerging composers Nathan Davis and Chris Marianetti, and Santa Fe composer and sound artist David Dunn.  

June 22, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. ~ Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe.  Santa Fe New Music will be premiering a newly commissioned work by Lisa R. Coons entitled "Alchemy II."  Information can be found at the Southwest Festival of New Music website.

June 21, 2012 ~ Garden of Memory at the Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, CA.  Adam Fong and Brent Miller will be presenting works for bass and saxophone.  New works (and old works yet to be performed) by both composers.

May 18-2012 ~ Adam Fong will be presenting at the Open Engagement Conference, produced by the Art and Social Practice students at Portland State University, on "Indeterminacy and Improvisation: the language of social engagement in experimental music."

March 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. ~ Sprague Hall (470 College St) in New Haven.  Dither will be playing Prolix, by Lisa R. Coons, as part of the Seventh Yale Guitar Extravaganza.  Also on the concert will be some great nyc composers: Paula Matthusen, Eve Beglarian, Jascha Narveson, and Josh Lopes.  This promises to be a really cool concert and fun for any electric guitar fan.  Please come out if you are in the area!

March 10, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. ~ Wilde Auditorium, University of Hartford.  The California E.A.R. Unit will premiere a new work composed by Lisa R. Coons as part of her Fellowship at the Hartt School.  This amazing group will also be performing works by other members of the Hartt Community and is free and open to the public.  More information can be found here.

March 7, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. ~ Chase Family Gallery in the Mandell JCC, Hartford.  Owen Weaver will be performing a new structured improvisation on Lisa R. Coons's "Sculpture No. 1," a welded and amplified percussion instrument created in 2007.  This performance will be part of the 12th Annual Women Composers Festival of Hartford.  Please come join us if you're in the Hartford area!

February 18, 2012 at 3 p.m. ~ Baryshnikov Arts Center in NYC.  ICE and The Troupe will give a special preview their collaboration with Lisa R. Coons--a new work for dance following the residency at BAC.  This will be a one-time-only peek before our premiere in the fall.  

February 13-18, 2012 ~ Baryshnikov Arts Center in NYC.  Lisa R. Coons will be in a week-long residency with the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) and The Troupe.  They'll be working on their new evening-length collaborative work for dance in the lovely BAC Workshop.

January 26, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. ~ (le) Poisson Rouge in NYC.  Dither Electric Guitar Quartet will perform excerpts from the 2008 piece "Cross-Sections" by Lisa R. Coons along with great music by Eve Beglarian, Jascha Narveson, and Travis Just.  Details and ticket information can be found here.

September 2, 7:30 p.m. ~ James Moore performs as part of the Music at First series.  The talented Mr. Moore will play the 2009 work by Lisa Coons called "A Quiet Struggle," for solo, amplified resonator guitar, among other cool works and pieces performed by the lovely Kathy Supove.  More info here.

September 9, 12-1 p.m. ~ Navitas Ensemble at the San Francisco Public Library, (in the Latino/Hispanic Community Room).  They'll be doing an educational outreach show with excerpts from The Collected Program, sure to be fun and enlightening!

September 9, 7:30 p.m. ~ Piotr Szewczyk performs at the H Douglas Lee Chapel at Stetson University in Florida.  This concert will include "Coming Undone" by Lisa Coons as part of the Violin Futura Project.  More info available here.

September 10, 11 a.m. ~ Navitas Ensemble at the Community Music Center (544 Capp St.)  Navitas will be performing excerpts from The Collected program as part of the Center's outreach events.  This will be free and open to the public.  More info here.

September 25, 7:30 p.m. ~ Navitas Ensemble at the Community Music Center in San Francisco (in the Capp Street Concert Hall).  This fantastic duo will be playing new works by members of The Collected.  Donations from $10-15 will be gratefully accepted.  More information can be found here.

September 28, 8:30 p.m. ~ Navitas Ensemble at the Subterranean Arthouse in San Francisco.  A second chance to catch the program with new works by the Collected if you missed it on the 25th, or a chance to hear it all again!  Donations from $10-20 will be gratefully accepted.  More info here.

Fall, 2011 ~ Adam Fong will be recording a series of works for voices as part of the 2011 Jack Straw Artist Support Program

Spring/Fall 2012 ~ Lisa R. Coons will be collaborating with the
